Carli McSpaden

        My name is Carli McSpaden, and I am an early childhood/elementary education major. As I come closer to becoming a teacher, I have thought a lot about how I want to run my classroom. I hope to embody my past teachers. I still volunteer at my elementary school, and my experiences there have given me insight into the teaching world. The teachers I have gotten the priviledge to observe display passion and love for teaching.

 

        Technology is important in the classroom and can be a very useful tool in the 21st century. In our society, technology can be overused and some children don't learn simple skills because technology can do it for them. In my classroom, technology will definitely be utilized, but I won't let it interfere with children learning how to perform skills themselves before teaching them how techology can assist them.
